I’m really not happy with this decision that the Phillies have made. I will take what they are asking me to do but I’m not excited about it [relieving]. I am a little disheartened. I don’t want to be a distraction to my teammates. I feel like I’ve been misled.

Ok, so he leads the team in wins. He also holds the third-worst ERA among NL starters. So what does that tell you? It tells me that he just happened to get a ton of run support and the bullpen hasn’t blown too many of his starts. What’s that you say? He also has 9 losses? And that also leads the team? Jamie, the truth is, you should have called it quits last year and gone out on top, but like too many athletes, you wanted to come back for more. This is what happens to 46-year-old pitchers.
